Welcome to the West Mecca United Methodist Church.
We are a group of people with common goal. That goal is to worship the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Further, we want everyone to know the same joy that we have found in worship. We especially are looking to share the good news of God with families.
West Mecca is rural community. Our church is just west of Mosquito Lake in Trumbull County, OH. We strive to fill the spiritual needs of the people in Mecca Township.
- Sunday school is held from 10:30 am until 11:15 am. Sunday school classes are available for every age group.
- Our Sunday Service starts at 9:00 am and lasts about 1 hour. Our worship style as “blended.” We sing both traditional hymns and contemporary praise songs. Our praise band leads the worship songs on the forth Sunday of the month. Other hymns are sung with piano and/or keyboard accompaniment.
- Visitors can park anywhere in the parking lot to the east of the building. Enter through the red doors on the side of the church and go up the stairs to the right. The greeters will welcome you when you enter.
- Dress however you like. At the West Mecca UMC you’ll see blue jeans and maybe even three piece suits (well maybe a suit).
- We welcome all people (including children) in our worship service. A children’s sermon is incorporated into the main worship service. We off a separate children’s church.
